New versions of the European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST) and the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) breakpoint tables have been released for 2026. The latest version of the EUCAST breakpoint tables is version 16, while for CLSI it is M100 ED36:2026.

The Congress of the European Society of
Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID Global) takes place on the 17–21 April 2026 in Munich, Germany. It will involve keynote lectures, oral sessions, workshops, symposia, meet-the-expert sessions and poster presentations.
